  1. Free - Proof-of-concept App : We start by performing a free analysis session with you for half a day such that we can build a first proof-of-concept App, without any obligation. The App can then be used for free for demonstration purposes during 30 days.

  2. Initial cost - Building the App and Coaching : For building the App and coaching the product owner, we will give you a written fixed price proposal outlining the scope of work (essential and optional) and the detailed planning. Again, we work at a fixed price because we want you to take no risk.

  3. Recurring cost - AppSheet : This is the cloud based App platform service. For most businesses the AppSheet Pro plan at 10 USD per month per active user is ideal. This gives you secure data protection and user access control, for an unlimited number of Apps. Every month, the Appsheet platform counts all the unique users that have signed in at least once over the past 30 days and you get a warning if this exceeds the level of your subscription. A given user that signs in many times in a month is counted only once. For example if you have 12 employees and partners that may potentially use the App but not regularly, you can start with choosing a 8 active users subscription (10 USD * 8 = 80 USD per month) and adjust the number of users up or down based on the actual usage statistics. You can change the number of licenses at any time, even switch back to the Free plan if your app is not going to be in use for a certain period of time. SYSAGI assists your organization to open your own AppSheet account, but we do not act as an intermediate.

  4. Recurring cost - Google Gsuite : This is the cloud service where the database will be stored as a Google Sheets spreadsheet. Gsuite also includes Google Drive for storing images and template documents. It is preferable to subscribe to a Gsuite Business account instead of using a free Google account, because Gsuite Business offers Team drives, support from Google, and allows your systems administrator to manage access controls and security. We recommend subscribing to 2 Gsuite Business accounts at 12 USD per month each, one for the administrator and one for the product owner who will maintain his App(s). In the future if your organization wants to involve additional product owners who will build their own apps, you just need to add one Gsuite account for each product owner. SYSAGI assists your organization to open your own Google account, but we do not act as an intermediate.

    For querying, reporting and dashboards (using Google BigQuery and Google Data Studio), a Google Cloud Platform account will be opened and linked to the Gsuite account. For small Apps, the transaction volume will normally remain below the generous amounts allowed in the “Google Cloud Platform Free Tier”, such that there will not be extra recurring costs above those of the Gsuite subscription.

    Summary : 12 USD monthly per product owner, plus 12 USD monthly for administration.

  5. Example of total recurring cost :

    104 USD (~ 140 CAD) monthly for the first App that has 8 active users. The calculation is : 8 * 10 USD for AppSheet + 24 USD for Gsuite.

    Free for additional Apps that have the same active users.

    Because the entire solution is cloud based, there are no other recurring costs for servers or storage within your organization.
